A Brief History
The band has been ‘HARDDRIVE’ since mid 2002 when Vic Woods answered an advert in a local Freeads paper, having finished with various musical projects. He partnered up with Gosport keyboard player Gary Woodward. For nine years the duo entertained pubs and clubs in the area before finally going their separate ways.
In 2016 Vic struck on the idea of reforming HARDDRIVE, under much pressure from former fans who’d missed their favorite live act. As Gary was unavailable the net was cast for a partner and after two years and several attempts, mercurial keysmith Kev McManus staggered from the wreckage of function band The Generators and the future was remade ...
